Spirulina gets its blue from phycocyanin. We extract that pigment and dry it into a fine, water-dispersible powder for makers who need colour they can actually formulate with.

It is happiest cold and neutral. Acid moves the shade toward teal, and heat can dull it, so add the blue late when your process allows.
